You mean the internet school. Then yes, many online schools are very legitamate.

You just have to find the right one.

Although, most companies want employees with years of experience in management.

It very much depends which country you’re living and working in. Originally, the Executive MBA programs were designed for working people in senior management positions. The courses are cursory and not as indepth as during the regular programs. Because of that fact, it won’t help you all that much if you plan to use it to move up into a better position. It’s more of a continuing education for people who are already in a senior job.

In the US, you need to make sure that the school is accredited by the AACSB. If it is not, then you’re wasting your time and money. The rules may be different where you live and work.

If you have to pay for it, none whatsoever. If you’re on company money, then go for it.

Executive MBA is just to get a stamp of approval that you know how businesses should be run, largely from life experience. It may help you climb the ladder in your organization but outside of it, very much meaningless.
