Both are adequate programs. Neither is what I would call an elite program. GW is the better program. BusinessWeek ranks it as a second tier program — which puts it in the top 50, but not the top 30. Pitt is outside the top 50.
If you can get into them, you probably have a shot at a program that is in the top 30.
