Microsoft Office
That is all you need. Be sure to buy the cheaper student edition. Your school probably sells it in the bookstore.
And also what the guy below me says.
Any video game, because you’ll get bored a lot.
Microsoft office Pro. I had to buy that software, If you need it, I can sell it to you. Usually you buy it at major stores for 170.00. Contact me via email if interested. amandameibeyer@yahoo.com.
I will not make you pay 170.00 for it.
Probably the Microsoft products — Excel, Word, Power-Point. You should know how to use them too!
Try to borrow them from a friend
The Microsoft Office Suite…. but *shhh* (Here’s a hint: You don’t have to shell out the $ 400 to buy it, unless you just want to spend some money, you can download it via torrents… For more information, google.com is your friend.)
You should have Office, but you may not need to purchase anything.
A lot of colleges have agreements with software companies and you can check out the software (normally from the library) and install it. Technically you are supposed to uninstall once you are no longer a student but….
Teachers will tell you what you will need. Text books will also include software needed a lot of times. Also some times the software is installed on computers in a computer lab so you have to do your work there. I would just wait and see what each teacher says.
You definately need Microsoft Office, or something similar. Word, Excel, and Powerpoint are the one’s you will use most often. Again, you may be able to get this from the school at no charge.
Presentation software (I hate to use Microsoft terms, but whatever, PowerPoint)
Spread sheet. You have to have that.
Word processor.
Essentially an Office software package.
Open office is free. But MS Office is quite cheep for students. The reason is obvious. Anyway, that is what you need.

microsoft office (not the cheap version either, you need the one with access), peachtree accounting or quickbooks as most admin. jobs require these, that should about do it.
Quake III and Unreal tournament are good choices.
You can always purchase World of Warcraft in case your lan budies are out.
And since you are an MBA major Civilization 4 is a must.
im not sure if there is a software about that … but just try this one http://www.keeptell.com/soft/600/business-software.html
