What kind of work experience should I be looking for to enter a Top MBA program?

I am Masters in Computer Science graduate from Redmond, WA USA.
Now, I have 2 choices to make:
First, I go and work for 4 years in Singapore as a Computer Science Teacher in a University. Then, I get back to USA apply for a Top MBA program.
Second, I stay in USA for 1 year trying to take risk in getting a job at Microsoft. As we know, Microsoft has the hardest interview ever that lasts around 6hours and with 6 interviewers.
In case, I couldn’t pass the interview at Microsoft during this 1 year, I will end up getting back to my home country due to my Visa expiration or I will have to apply directly to an MBA school which I doubt they’re going to accept me because I have no work experience.

The thing is that I don’t know if working as a Teacher in SINGAPORE would help me get the Work Experience that I need in order to get accepted later on in a Top MBA Program in USA.

Does work experience in the educational field count?(working as a teacher in Computer Science)

If you were a US citizen, I would say that working abroad would be the right step. But since you are a foreign citizen, I would suggest just the opposite. Try to get a job at Microsoft. They are not the only Software company in the US — so if that doesn’t work out — try other US companies.

One year of work experience will not cut it. The top B-Schools want you to have three to five years of work experience.
