    Look for entry level positions at corporate offices for major retail and food stores etc. You also have the option to use your entrepreneur or whatever skills you have to start your own small or big organization.

    With an Associates? You can get entry to mid level office work. You would still need your bachelors.

    An associates in business is good if you were already working somewhere (office work) and you wanted to be eligible for a promotion and the competition had more education than you. You advantage over them would be your current experience with that company.

    For instance;

    You work for a consulting firm.
    You’ve been there for about 6-7 years. You’re getting paid maybe $ 15/hr.
    You only have a high school diploma.

    You want a supervisor or management position.

    For a person off the street, the company requires that they have at least a bachelors and 2-3 yrs experience.

    If you go back to school and get an associates, you’re now more qualified. The company doesn’t have to train you because you already know the ropes. They don’t have to really add anything new to payroll except maybe a $ 2-$ 5 raise, if not salary. A new employee would require a background check/credit check, training and orientation, a new W-4 Form has to be filled out and submitted. New emails/user names and passwords.

    Does that make sense to you?

    To answer your question; you wouldn’t really get any better work with just an associates as you would if you just had a h.s diploma. Unless the company is really small (not a corporation). As far as WHO to apply to…that can be anything from a government desk job to a call center (read commission).
