Question by Amanda P: What kind of jobs should I apply for with a BS in Business Administration degree?
I have previously worked as a bank teller and secretary, but I want something that I might actually have to use my degree with. I feel like that most of the time I am overqualified for the job or I do not have enough experience for the job.

What you should “apply for” is an MBA program. A mere BS in business, unfortunately, just doesn’t cut it anymore.

Anything you want. I have that degree and i am a field rep for Congress. My friends who graduated with that degree have jobs ranging from drug reps, to bank managers, real estate sales, ad agencies, you name it. The better your business school the more you will be recognized.
You should research what it is you want to do, and go do that!
While Baphomet has a point (an MBA will open many, many doors), having a BS in any discipline proves to a potential employer that you can apply yourself at least well enough to finish a degree. This is almost always more useful info to a future employer than what the degree is in.
The question you should be asking is “why did I go to school for a BS in Business Administration in the first place?” Whatever captured your interest in pursuing that degree, should also be what you look for when applying to jobs. This degree provides a bit of flexibility into what positions you may apply for and whether its an entry level position or higher depends on what kind of work experience you bring along with that degree.
As far as receiving an MBA, most MBA programs at respectable schools require at least two years of professional (read, after receiving bachelor’s) work experience, with the exception of being admitted into a joint program, such as JD/MBA or MD/MBA.
