I may be wrong, but I know at my school “business administration” is a fancy term for ‘secretary’.

Unfortunatly, the vast majority of jobs available to BSBA’s are fairly low level. Add to that the factor of an online degree and you are signing up for a managers position at Wendy’s or an administrative assistant’s job at a Fortune 500 company. With experience and a proven track record though, you may be able to go very far. This is particularly true if you complete an MBA but to get one you should have put about 5 years of work experience under your belt before applying to good B-schools.
My advice, get your degree from a traditional brick and mortar college with a name. Get a degree in something usefull and in demand. Technology sells and pays well. Online degree’s are great for people who already have a job and want to add skills but not for a primary education.
Good Luck!
Please refrain from those ‘online schools’ as they are just basically for-profit, diploma mill schools. Employers don’t look upon them as reputable. Instead, perhaps look into getting a degree at a major college or university that offers online courses.

And for more general info on careers: US Occupational Outlook Handbook http://www.bls.gov/oco and can type into search ‘business administrator’ or ‘office manager’.
