A post graduate certificate is 18 credit hours. A MBA is 36 credit hours. Many MBA’s do NOT require dissertations. I will finish mine in the spring and am not required to do a dissertation. The MBA content is much more thorough and covers topics such as Organizational Behavior, Ethics, Statistical Research, HR, Leadership, MIS, Managerial Accounting, Strategic Planning, etc. You will be eligible for more job opportunities with the MBA.
