Question by bad boy mccoy: What is an MBA?
Master of Business but exactly how broad of a term is this. Currently I am and Economics major. And I’m planning on getting my B.S. in Econ in the next 2 years. What I would like to know is will majoring in Econ hurt my chances of getting accepting into a graduate school to acquire a MBA. also, is it a “bad” thing or a disadvantage to getting your B.S. in Economics rather than an BSBA is Finance

Your undergraduate major is almost irrelevant in getting an MBA. At the top schools, most MBA students have an undergraduate degree completely unrelated to business. Business and Economics are pretty common. Having an Economics degree will not hurt you. In some ways, it will help you — because you can test out of some of the core classes and take the much more interesting electives.
