You can click on the link below to drill down into different types of rankings such as overall, recruiter ratio, student quality, etc.

Rankings are crap. They take into account such factors as “student-teacher ratio,” which is calculated as full-time tuition equivalents to teachers. You can make that ratio go up by hiring lots of part time faculty, and having really high tuition with lots of financial aid, rather than acutally making classes smaller. And that’s just one example. There are loads of other such tricks to improve a school’s standings in the rankings.
It’s really hard to say because it depends on which ranking you use. The most popular ranking these days are:
Business Week
Wall Street Journal
Forbes
US News
Honestly, the top 25 programs will give you comparable quality of education. How much you get out of it depends on you.
