University of Phoenix is a really bad option. You need better advisors. . .

Three decent “purely online/distance” schools are:

    Athabasca U
    Excelsior College
    Western Governors U

I am currently enrolled at the University of Phoenix Axia (online) college and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in distance learning. The instructors are great and so are the advisors and you wouldn’t believe how much support there is from everyone!
