R&B/Soul Singer Queen LaneÂÂs Debut Album Release
(PRWEB) April 14, 2005
Quebla Records of Atlanta, Georgia is pleased to announce their new release by new indie recording artist Queen Lane, titled ÂÂWhat I SaidÂÂ. This debut album includes infectious Neo Soul and R&B tracks with some Hip Hop blended for style.
Singer, songwriter, composer, and producer Queen Lane is maverick of the Neo Soul music world. She is known for thinking outside of the box in her redesign of music classification. Her music compositions include Neo Soul, Hip Hop, R&B, and even Rap. When Queen writes, the lyrics and music come naturally from her soul, line after line the words pour onto the page faster than she can get it down. Queen says ÂÂI prefer that music has substance mixed with a little experience and enjoyment.ÂÂ Fans all over the world rave of QueenÂÂs ability to express topics of the heart and mind in a way that makes it easier to cope with lifeÂÂs experiences. One fan said ÂÂQueen is yet an undiscovered gem, that when exposed to the world will shine so bright.ÂÂ Another fan said ÂÂQueen is just real and says things just like they are. Her music is filled with lessons and experience.ÂÂ
Queen has performed in showcases and concerts in Atlanta, Georgia, Virginia, and North Carolina and looks forward to taking her show on the road this summer. ÂÂWhat I SaidÂÂ has even sold in Japan and Germany already. This album, which includes the introductory single by the same name, was not only written by Queen, but also produced and composed by her as well. The song’s storyline has become the theme song for budding romances stemming from close friendships. The playful lyrics in ÂÂSumin’ About You BoyÂÂ simulate how people feel when they fall for someone new, whereas the tone of ÂÂNever Fall In LoveÂÂ gives a message to women on securing their hearts and minds from the trials of relationships. And ÂÂOohÂÂ expresses QueenÂÂs playfulness in infatuations or instant attractions that one may experience when meeting someone new.
About Queen Lane
Queen Lane has always followed her calling in music. At an early age she played instruments from piano by ear to saxophone throughout high school. Singing became a demand at an early age as Queen was requested to sing solos week after week at church. Although music and writing became her passion, Queen felt it important to finish school and go to college before pursuing her dream of singing. Queen finished her Masters in Business Administration in 2001 while learning music production and engineering on the side in her spare time, all the while writing and scoring new music.
Queen writing include childrenÂÂs stories, music, and animations, comedy and adventure films, multiple genres of music, poetry, and nonfiction business media. She has a talent of expression and doesnÂÂt leave home without her pen and tape recorder. Queen says ÂÂI am always writing something. I am always thinking about different topics and immediately have a debate on just about any issue from both sides of the spectrum. Writing seems parallel to my soul, my entire make up. IÂÂd feel stranded without the ability to compose.ÂÂ
Queen is excited about emerging as an artist. Her music has gained accolades from many different organizations. Producers are baffled by QueenÂÂs knowledge of the production studio and drive. Queen writes Rock, Neo Soul, Gospel, Hip Hop, and she even Raps. Queen is ready to hit the stage and share her talents with the world.
