Its a bit of a generic degree. You could go into retail or mid level mangement. Go for at least a BA if at all possible
Give your answer to this question below!
You probably want to have an emphasis. Like accounting. Businesses are in real trouble these days…that is when human resources starts bulking up on CPAs.
I have a Bachelor’s. The degree will help you only IF you have the right kind of personality. You have to be extroverted, well spoken, and look good. The degree will get you in the door. After that, you have to actually know something and be able to communicate it to everyone.

It was not much.if it would have been in accounting….a better deal
take a career in accounting
I posted this in another similar question and felt it could work here too. With an associates degree in Business, an easy job to get into is as a Personal/Business Banker. Most of these job postings will state they prefer a Bachelors (I went into this career after I obtained my Bachelors), but with your Associates you can still get in, especially if you have some kind retail/sales experience to back you up. You just have to make sure you come across as someone who’s passionate about Finance/Banking, and that you look forward to meeting and exceeding goals.
I definitely felt this degree was worth it because it prepared me for lots of business-related items (ie presentations, group projects, teamwork, office software), and honestly I always felt a more personal connection to my school through my community college, which had a nice small size of like 15 students per class, rather than my university which routinely had 50+ size classrooms, not including the 400+ sized auditoriums. It also nicely transferred into my university for my bachelors, something you can consider in the future too.
