KELLER GRADUATE SCHOOL (DEVRY) IS NOT ACCREDITED BY THE AACSB. GOLDEN GATE UNIVERSITY IS NOT ACCREDITED BY THE AACSB.
Don’t waste your money on unaccredited degrees. There are a host of accredited degrees that will be worth the paper they are printed on. Some of them may even be offered online at instate rates. If your program is not accredited by the Association to Advance of Collegiate Schools of Business, then you will are not paying for a respected MBA. With MBAs, image is EVERYTHING.
(If you are going to spend the time and money for an MBA, then it better have the accreditation that employers are looking for, namely the AACSB. There are many 2nd and 3rd tier colleges that are accredited by them, and a number of online degrees. What would you be sacrificing by NOT looking for this high level of accreditation?)

But, the above reply doesn’t answer the question. The value of AACSB accreditation is not the question here.
The general level of academic respect for Golden Gate U is indeed higher than that of Keller Grad (DeVry).
Both are accredited and recognized as such by the US Govt. Neither is AACSB accredited but then, most colleges (some 3000+ of 4000 accredited colleges in the US) are not accredited by AACSB.
There are some other options out there though and many are much less costly than Golden Gate. Jacksonville State is AACSB and it’s very reasonable.

Now, contrary to what many people will tell you, the value of an MBA is not that piece of paper or the name of the college on it. The real value of an MBA is what you learn and who you make contacts with. You want the best school with the best academic reputation that you can get into and then you want to take the time to actually learn something.
