Question by Alex: Is marketing minor worth it?
I’m getting a BA in art and would be graduating at the end of the year. But if I get a minor in marketing I would graduate April of next year and have to take 4 classes. And I already have 2 internships and am sick of college to be honest.
But I was wondering if a marketing minor would look better on a resume if I apply to marketing positions in case I can’t find a job as a designer.
Also, I wanted to apply to an MBA program for international business/ global management in the future and was wondering if a marketing minor would look better on my application?
My GPA is 3.82 at the moment too…

Take the extra courses in marketing and graduate in April. I know you are sick of school, but it is only 4 more months. And of course you know that if you apply to graduate school and get accepted it means MORE COLLEGE CLASSES anyway.
A minor in marketing is a far more useful in the business world than your BA in arts. A BA in art commands a much lower salary than that minor in marketing. And you are right, it will also look better on the application for an MBA program in international business/global management. Good luck and tough it out, you got the grades for it.
