Question by GTA SA: How is Accenture to work for? Is it fair?
I have reached Bangalore and have got offers to work there, but want to know about it rather than blame myself.
Is it a professional place? Decisions?
Are managers mature or kids only looking for fun or rude & high handed? If you know what I mean.
Does the company speak of engaging employees and then doing what they want?
Are they fair to the clients or want us to con them? This is important as this can be really trying.
Note:
I asked earlier at: http://in.answers.yahoo.com/question/?qid=20090209224631AAHeeF0
However was not satisfied, would like more people to respond.
Please do not tell me it is a world famous company, as they need not be fair, also Accenture came up suddenly, has no long track record.
I have 7 yrs of work experience in UK & Germany while studying & after, but have to be in India for at least next 5 years and prefer to work in a good place. I plan to do my MBA here & need peace of mind.

Anyone conducting a google.com search for “accenture rip off,” will bring up some 8,500+ search results which simply state: It’s a rip off! Do not deal with Accenture!

As you had work experience its not for you. But if in small jobs and no corporate experience then join and work for a couple of years, you’ll learn how to take advantage of people mouthing big talk – they disguise it really well.
Accenture India and US (dont know about others) mainly hires freshers who do not know anything and makes them work. If you’ve worked with them you’ll know how it is -yuk, assumption is their middle name & the company does not even train them properly coz the trainers are low level. Go on check it out, you’ll be stunned…
I’ll give some examples they ask you to provide ideas to save dollars for the company, but the only ideas selected are those of managers, if yours is good it will be rejected and a couple of months later a manager will present it and there will be clapping all round.
Top managers are good but not able to take real decisions, that’s how the company is. The lower guys are young chaps who are only looking how to do it and their seniors just cover as they want the work to get done – Government offices are better.
Remember it has a good name though currently, it came up out of nowhere, but may crash fast anytime as they thrive on cheating customers. Once customers start leaving it will be another company which will collapse. Like Satyam
Dont break your head if you still want to work, just act interested in your work, dont actually have to be.
Their pay is damn less though the CTC looks good but you get medical insurance.
