Question by Smitty: How good is the University of Michigan to cure brain cancer?
I know somebody who has brain cancer and had surgery done at the University of Michigan. He’ll be having kimo therapy (or something like that.. I don’t know how to spell it. it’s something where you have chemicals that fight of fast growing cells) and I want to know how much it can help him and if he will be okay…

Chemotherapy (chemo) is the treatment of cancer with drugs that can destroy cancer cells. Often called “anticancer” drugs, chemo can be given in several different ways, including through an IV or as a pill. The type of chemotherapy given depends on the type of cancer, whether chemo has been given before, and if the person has other health problems. The type of side effects your friend might experience will depend on what chemotherapy drugs he will receive.
