Question by Learning: Have a business degree, can’t find a job with it, should I go into accounting or what to do?
have a degree in Business Admin w/ emphasis in computer information system. After grad, I couldn’t find a job related to my field. I have been doing clerical work making low wages that are hard for me to survive in this high living cost city. I want to go back to school. I’m thinking of:

1) take a few more accounting courses to get an acct. degree.Acct is not very interesting for me but I am business major, I have the core classes already.

2) Do other majors like Pharmacist or Engineer? I like Pharmacist more. But cost alot of money and take another 4 or more yrs of school.

3) Take some more computers classes to become a Network administrator. Since technology advances so quick, I don’t want to go back to school often to brush up.

I want to evaluate a more realistic and attainable choice for me. Which is better option for me? Money and time are some of my worries. Thank U.

I have a BA in Accounting and getting a job is no issue at all. In fact, the place I work for is having a difficult job finding enough people to fill our open positions. My accounting professor told me this and I have to agree looking back: “There is no such thing as an unemployed CPA.”
