Question by Sewage: Does anyone know any good Graduate schools with Consumer Psychology and MBA (Advertising/Marketing) programs?
I’m trying to find a future grad school with Consumer Psychology in specific, not general or behavioral psych as well as an MBA program in either Marketing and/or advertising. I’m looking for schools in either the US or Canada, I live in Florida right now.
Thanks a lot!
By the way, Masters level, not PhD as we will be graduating with bachelors degrees.

There is no such MBA. Universities don’t grant MBA in advertising, or MBA in finance, or MBA in marketing. They grant the degree Master in Business Administration, or they offer the MS in finance, MS in marketing, etc. The MBA is a general degree preparing students for management positions in any level of a business, up to CEO. MBA students study accounting, finance, marketing, management, statistics, economics, strategy, policy, and other courses. Many MBA programs offer concentrations in these and many other fields, but that amounts to only 2-3 courses in your chosen field in the second year of study. Many students avoid a concentration and take a variety of elective subjects to gain a broader background.

By the time you finish the first year you’ll be able to decide which concentration interests you. You don’t become a specialist in a field with 2-3 courses. It generally takes a year of concentrated study.
After you get a list of MBA programs that fit you well, check each of the schools to see if they have the other programs you want.
