   The University of Phoenix is not a crappy college. They are an

   accredited (1978) University and they have campuses across the

   United States. They also have every single degree program accredited

   by an accredited agency, so much for misleading information.

   As far as your GPA is concerned, it’s too low for any Grad School.

   However, they might consider your application if you have 3 years of

   work experience. It looks like your going to have to take pre grad

   school courses, but no one offers financial aid for pre grad courses. So

   it looks like your going to have to take pre grad school courses and go

   to that same university that offers you the pre grad school courses.

   So basically, I would look for another university.

   Don’t worry about it. You can still get in. Schools don’t base admissions criteria on GPA alone and they’ll consider that you’re actually working in the field that you want to get your degree in. If you were applying to a highly competitive school or program, then I’d say otherwise. But, Phoenix isn’t difficult to get into. I’ve never heard of anyone saying that they didn’t get accepted.

   Also, consider applying to other schools. There are plenty of better schools willing to accept a C student with real world experience. Go ahead and apply to them. You may be surprised to get an acceptance letter in the mail from some of them, but you’ll never know if you don’t go for it.
