Q&A: bachelors and masters degree in sports management?

Question by Mommy E: bachelors and masters degree in sports management?
i want to major in sports management and some colleges offer a bachelors and masters degree or just one of the two. what is the difference between them? if i want to get a masters should i got to a school that offers a bachelors and masters or just masters?
and by the way… can i become a general manager of a professional sports team if i have a masters in sports management?

1. To get a masters, you need a bachelor’s first. A masters is a post-graduate (meaning, after you graduate college) degree. It does not matter if you get your bachelor’s degree at a school that offers a masters in sports management or if you go to a school that does not.

2. Those kinds of jobs are gotten through connections more than education. I highly doubt you would find a job in that field unless you know someone. I suggest you get a more practical degree.
