What do you mean, “is this really what our society is going to??”

Do you *really* believe that people haven’t been killing themselves until just recently?

Well, for one thing most of us do not kill ourselves and family due to losing a job.
Go to college and get that degree to do what you want to and be the best you can be at it. When times get tough the tough get going!

We have seen so many tragic things of late in the news. This does NOT mean that we have to join them. Why people give up, I do not know. I do know that obviously this guy had mental issues to deal with to begin with.

Set the course for your life and follow it. You cannot stop just because some give up.

There must have been more negative issues the man was dealing with then lack of finding a job. Even more tragic then him taking his own life is taking other lives that had no say in the matter. And we will never know all the real reasons.

Do not put yourself in this man’s place regarding your lack of prospects… You have not even graduated yet! How do you know your possible prospects yet?

Besides, with the world’s finances going “ker-flooey”, accountants might very well be in demand to help sort out the mess. Are you up to it?

It hasn’t anything to do with having or not having a MBA. It’s not about society, either, but how people handle the stress in their lives.

You go on with your life and your plans. Hopefully you are following that thing that gives you joy in doing – accounting. (And if you aren’t – why not?)

Try not to anticipate the negative in the future; that will bring depression. Stop worrying.

There are many lessons to learn in life. Some of them are difficult, some are sad. Still, life is beautiful.

    Good luck.

That guy probably had it pretty good up until the end. Not everyone has the opportunity to go to college for an MBA, work for top accounting firms and can afford to live in a $ 750,000 house. If there is anything wrong with our country it’s the unwarranted sense of entitlement some people have. The good things in your life aren’t always going to be easy to attain and some times you have to work a little harder to get what you want. Besides, losing your job is no reason to kill yourself let alone kill your entire family. He took the coward’s way out and it’s a tragedy that he took the lives of others in the process. You can still have the American dream if you are up to the challenge, it’s just not going to be as easy for you out of college than it might have been a decade ago.
