I’m debating about either Penn State or UMass Amherst for online MBA. Which holds higher rank? I live in California, and would definitely like to know which school of the two is more well known over here. Any suggestions or feedback?

I’m not familiar with UMass Amherst but I can legitamtely say that Penn State is an ivy league school so I would assume the education there is much better than most other schools. I was unaware that they had an online MBA program though.
EDIT: (Re – Ð4MÃN!™ (End the Fed!)) You’re correct. I mixed up the schools. My bad. :-/
I’m a student at UMass Amherst.
To confirm, Penn State is NOT an ivy league school. The other poster may have been thinking of UPenn, which is an ivy league school.
UMass Amherst has a great MBA program, though Penn State is ranked higher than UMass, so that might be your better bet.
They are almost equally expensive out-of-state schools. (I know this because I applied to Penn State as a high school senior, and declined their offer because they didn’t give me enough financial aid)
Should you choose UMass Amherst, The Isenberg School of Management is where you’ll be headed. (ISOM is the abbreviation). You need to have a 3. 5 or higher GPA at the end of your first year*. My former roommate was just admitted to the program last week.
Good luck!
Feel free to email me if you have any questions about UMass Amherst.
