Online degrees VS. Traditional degree?

Question by justmeandluck: Online degrees VS. Traditional degree?
I am 26 years old and would like to finish a degree. I would need at least 3 years. However, I can not afford to quit my job to accomplish this. I am leary however, of putting time and money into an online program, to find out that employers don’t take an online degree seriously. Will it be hard to find a job? I would like to major in Psychology…
I would attend night classes, however the Universities around the area do not offer night classes in the program that I want to pursue.

Most universities and colleges that offer online degrees are accredited, so that your degree will be acceptable to employers. When you find a program that interests you, it is a good practice to call or email the school to ask about accreditation and find out about transferable credits should you wish to pursue graduate school, etc.
