the job market in us is terrible, about 9.5% unemployment. because of this alot are going back to school to bid thier time instead of sitting idol as an unemployed worker.
Not only does prior exp play a huge role in job opportunites after you graduate from an MBA program, but most MBA programs require at least 1 year of relevant experience to even be considered. If you want to go to a good school and also have your MBA work for you , you should have experience.
You can obtain an MBA without experience but it acts like this; you will obtain a job that does not require an MBA but you will be eligible for some job at your company that require an MBA. an MBA is used for upper level managment jobs, and you can’t expect a company to put you in upper level management with no experience.
