Is it worth it to pursue an online MBA from UMUC?

no.
UMUC is a bit of a scam, especially if you plan on looking for a job in the mid-atlantic region. UMUC is not at all connected with UMCP and employers know it. If you want to go the University of Maryland for an MBA you have to get into the Smith school (which isn’t easy).
There are so many UMD alumni in the mid-atlantic that fiercely guard their school’s reputation. So if you try to pass off a UMUC MBA as a UMCP MBA, you’ll tick off a lot of people. I’ve seen it tried.
Any MBA that does not require a GMAT score is not respected and will probably be a big waste of money.

NO WAY. Its just a waste of your time and money
All the average MBA schools would even for a GMAT score. Since this one doesnt, its below average. You are better off taking the GMAT and applying to the UMD at College Park. That school is more well known and their MBA is actually valued pretty high.
