LA College International Names Los Angeles Director, Hosts Open House; Dean K. Dunbar Brings Progressive Experience to Director Post

LA College International (http://www.lac.edu), delivering quality, career-focused higher education since 1981, this week announces the appointment of Dean K. Dunbar as the Los Angeles Director. The College will host an open house to introduce the Director and showcase the upcoming academic program on August 5.
Demonstrating its continuing commitment to the Los Angeles community, LA College International has named Dean K. Dunbar to the position of Campus Director.
Dr, Melissa Hartman, Provost and Chief Academic Officer said, “We are very pleased that Dean Dunbar chose to apply his talents and background to LA College.” “It is a tribute to our commitment to academic quality and student service that Mr. Dunbar was attracted to LA College,” said Dr. Hartman. “Harnessing his management strengths to further our blueprint for continuous institutional improvement will benefit the College, as well as our students.”
Mr. Dunbar brings extensive higher education experience to the college and a background of progressive management responsibility. He has an established educational career in growing and developing campuses and serving students.
Mr. Dunbar is pursuing his Master of Business Administration degree, and has a Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing.

LA College International will host an Open House to introduce Mr. Dunbar to the community and showcase its academic degree programs on Wednesday, August 5. Beginning at 11:30 a.m. the event will feature a campus tour, opportunities to meet key faculty and administrative personnel, and a luncheon.
LA College International (http://www.lac.edu) is nationally accredited by the Accrediting Council of Independent College and Schools (ACICS) to offer Associate and Bachelor’s degrees in Business Management, Health Care Administration and Criminal Justice. LA College International offers Bachelor of Science (BS) degree programs in Business Management, Healthcare Administration, and Criminal Justice. Associate of Arts (AA) degree programs are offered in Business Management and Healthcare Administration. An Associate of Science (AS) degree program is offered in Criminal Justice. The next academic session begins August 10. Registration and enrollment are in progress.
