It’s okay – you will get a very good education there.

Except for your first job, or if you go into professional academia, nobody who matters cares where you got your degree. You really need to quit worrying about rankings – they are an irrelevant distraction.

If it still bothers you, apply to one or two “name” schools and see if you can make a business case for one that accepts your application. Think in terms of travel, convenience, and how much debt you’ll have when you get your MBA. The “name” unis in Canada are Toronto [on every list], McGill, McMasters, Dalhousie, UBC [they come up on many lists], and Waterloo.

Brock has a different mission. By all means consider matriculating there.
