Hey, here’s a little background.

I’m 25 years old. I graduated with an undergrad degree in biomedical science (pre-med) BS with a 3.1GPA at age 23. I then took a full time job (am located in NY) in higher education working with a database system and had a salary of 36k. I started a part time MBA program (i am in year 2 of 4) and currently have a 4.0GPA with half of the curriculum completed.

I would like to still be in business, but will an MBA really help me that much? I keep hearing that education is priceless but I’m wondering if my experience and undergrad would be enough to get a decent business job? I know I finished with a low GPA in a non-business related field (in which case an MBA with a good GPA would help) but how much would it really help me? Would it be marginal or better than marginal to have?
I should add that I’m getting my MBA at a state university, not nearly a top 15 ranked program.
