Is it smart to get an MBA in sports management?

I have a bachelors in business/finance but no experience at all in any sport related field. The bachelors has not done anything for me as I can’t find a job and I was told that the MBA is for non-business majors. That’s why I was looking into sports management. Do you think it would have good opportunities for me?

Sports management can be a good specialty. While there are no guarantees, this is the path towards being a major league team manager.

However, I hope you are a total sports fanatic and know tons of stuff about sports now. because that enthusiasm is what will get you a job later.

This can be a good field since many of the managers that handles the big teams from when pro sports got really big in the 60′s will be retiring in the next 5-10 years.
