Question by billy t: is it possible to get into business school?
Im a History and English Double major who was planning to go to law school but am having 2nd thoughts. i still have a few years before i graduate. I have a high gpa (3.79) and i think i can score well on the GMAT but is my major going to be a problem?

Shouldn’t be but some of the courses can be a bit Math intensive. If you have not taken much college math you may have to take a pre-requisite math class.
Many MBA courses have a list of Pre-MBA classes you have to take before you start the regular classes.
But do not let that stop you. – Any major is good for MBA classes.
Call the schools you are interested in and ask them what the deal is.

Not at all. I was a fine arts/ceramic sculpture major. I had no problem getting into a good MBA program. Know, though, that most MBA programs prefer you to have a couple years of post-college work experience before you apply.
Probably not. The top schools often require work experience. So if you work first, your major will not matter. Also business schools also may be looking for liberal arts background so that you have the skills to think. In any case, I recommend determining what you want to end up doing before attending business school.
