I have a friend that is almost finished getting her BA in English and she’s looking to get an MBA possibly in Business.Is it possible to jump over to Business to get her MBA after finishing her English courses?

Yes it’s possible. Your undergraduate degree does not necessarily have to be in business to get your master’s in it.
I received my undergraduate in architecture and received my MBA 10 years later.

It is definitely possible. MBA in business is a redundancy. the MBA is a business degree. MBA programs accept students with any undergraduate degree, but most of them prefer students with 2-4 year of work experience. If the GPA is good and GMAT score high, schools will take students right out of college, and some programs are designed specifically for students with little or no work experience. Your friend should consult the Official MBA Guide to get help finding an appropriate MBA program. a combination of MBA and English would be very attractive for companies in the publishing industry, entertainment, on-line education, and many others.
