In addition to Bill’s point, can this celebrity give a thorough evaluation of your business skills? What was your undergraduate major? What’s your GMAT score? There are lots of factors at work in determining your chances.
Your GPA is somewhat low. You really need recommendations from your undergraduate professors as well as your boss that you worked with. A “well-known” celebrity will not likely help your application or make up for your less than stellar GPA.
