I am British but I am looking to take a masters(in TESOL) where I live (in Japan), these are all from US Universities, will they mean anything in the UK

A few US university degree are worth the paper only.` verify about the university’s credentials and then take the exams. best wishes.. a reputed US degree will be honoured in UK

It completely depends on which university you’re talking about. The last time I looked, there were just over 5,000 universities in the US. A good number of these are termed ‘Diploma-mills’. If the uni is listed in the top 100 (by a reputable authority), there shouldn’t be any problem. Ivy-League uni’s are sure to be recognised.
