I’m considering getting my MBA. Debating Webster University, Lindenwood, and UMSL.?
Any thoughts. what looks better to potential employers?? I know none of them are top notch schools, I just need something with the flexibility to go to class in the evenings, maybe just once or twice a week, etc.

Make a business decision and attend the one that will leave you the least in debt.
All are okay schools and their MBAs carry about the same weight, although UMSL does have some extra credentialing going for it.
My guess is that you’ll end up at UMSL, which is just fine.

When people talk about the MBA degree being the “debased coin of the realm”. These three mediocre schools are what they have in mind. The schools are undistinguished to start with, and their MBA programs are near the bottom among “legitimate” MBA programs.
Of the three schools, only the UMSL School of Business is AACSB-accredited, but overall USML is “4th tier” as ranked by USN&WR.
The standard advice about MBAs is that only MBAs from top-tier schools make any significant difference in career earnings. MBAs from other schools should be regarded as a personal indulgence, like owning a boat or a horse.

UMSL is probably the best choice of the three, but there may be better options for you. Find out how these schools fit your criteria and preferences. There are sites on the Internet that can help you do so. There is a lot of information available in free public service sites. Some sites are limited to specific countries, such as Germany, UK, or Australia. Some list a small number of select schools, while others may include more than 2,000 MBA programs listed worldwide. You can find the program that best fits you. You can search for programs by location (US, Europe, Far East, etc.), by concentration (finance, marketing, aviation management, health management, accounting, etc.), by type of program (full-time, distance learning, part-time, executive, and accelerated), and by type of degree (MBA, MS, Ph.D). In some cases you can select your own criteria and preferences to get a list of universities that satisfy your needs.
You can find data on entrance requirements, program costs, program characteristics, joint degrees such as MBA/JD, and much more. Some sites have links to the schools’ web sites, or provide email addresses to contact schools of your choice, and send them pre-applications. You can find lists of top schools ranked by various periodicals or ranked by starting salaries of graduates, GMAT scores, and other criteria. Generally you should stay away from any sites that require you to pay to get information or that promise to find scholarships for you or ensure acceptance into a program. Before you provide any personal information to a site, be sure to read their privacy policy and make sure they are not harvesting email addresses for sale.
Not everyone can get into the top 10 or 15 MBA programs, but that does not mean you should avoid getting the MBA. A recent study shows that on average across all MBA schools, people with the MBA earn on average $ 300,000 more than people without the MBA over a 20-year career. Bloomberg Business Week reports that “On average, MBAs from the top 45 B-schools will make around $ 2.5 million in base pay and bonuses over the course of a 20-year career.”
It is always better to attend an accredited MBA program because it carries more weight with employers. Many employers don’t send recruiters to non-accredited programs.
