Now first things first, the last thing I want to here is a bunch of college kids complaining that executives in the EMBA program are a joke and they are paying double the price. So lets avoid this.

In my experience there is no difference in the course content between a traditional MBA program and an Executive MBA program.
The difference lies in the time that it takes to complete and the experience requirements to be admitted to the executive program.
Virtually every reputable Executive MBA program awards an MBA degree. In other words, almost no one has an EMBA degree.
If a university awards you an MBA degree for completing and Executive MBA program then you are absolutely in your rights to state that you have an MBA. Reserve the use of the label “Executive MBA” for when you refer to the program in which you studied, not when referring the the degree that you earned as a result of these studies.
