I have no business background. However, I am a practicing attorney who may want to go into a business field. Can anyone give me info. whether obtaining a MBA or BA is better based on my situation? Thank you for the help.

Well, you have to get a BA before an MBA, the M means you Hold your Masters Degree in Business. So you can get your BA and stop there or continue to get your Masters. . .
First of all, you do not need a BA before you get an MBA. You can have a BS and any other Bachelorate degree to get an MBA. However, you have a law degree which is a juris doctorate. It is an advanced degree. You would not need a BA to get an MBA. It is up to you to choose which route is best suited to you.
