Question by l_mofakham: How to find universities in USA for PHD that i dont have to have GRE/Gmat ?
I have already got MBA from UK. I am intending to go to USA to do my PHD in marketing. Is there any universities in USA (california) which give me the addmmition without GRE/GMAT? I am an international student.

If you really want to get a PhD then take the GRE. You may find a University in the USA that doesn’t ask for GRE (though I don’t know of any) but then you should ask yourself if it is worth going to that school for the next 3-5 years of your life. Because in the end- even if you do not plan on staying in the USA and so don’t care about the university’s reputation- remember that once you are in your field you are competing with everyone in that field where ever you are because you will belong to something more global- where your goal should be in pushing the field forward. Your peers will not be others who have their MBA or Bachelors- your peers will be those with PhD as well and you want to be able to stand on your own intellect- so pick the program that will challenge you and allow you to be the best in your field.
