How to convince my dad to let me do distance learning?

I’ve been trying to convince my dad that distance learning( basically just online school) is a lot easier and better for me than regular school. I can work at my own pace etc. However, he won’t let me enroll in one next school year. I’m thinking of just dropping out of school. I can’t stand the social game anymore, or waking up at 5 AM. I’ll only have 2 years of school left, he should just let me do it online.

  1. P&S Bully

    I think you’re being lazy.
It’s much better to go to regular school.

  2. The Beautiful Letdown

Gather all your information from those online classes. Explain to him that you’re dedicated on doing your work. That you’re willing on showing him what you do, what you’re learning and what’s due in order to pass those classes.
It’s actually not a lot easier, you have to do a lot of reading on your own without having discussions or different opinions of your classmates if you were in a class. If he doesn’t let you enroll, you’re gonna have to go with it because if you plan on dropping out, you’re not screwing up anybody but yourself. Education is very important. Do your best to finish those 2 years.
