an MBA is valuable for 3 reasons:
    - providing the student with the necessary knowledge that will help them in their future careers
    - building a network of fellow students you can rely on in the future
    - learning the “lingo”

So, ask yourself this: do you intend to work in an area where there are a lot of Georgia State U. graduates? are the type of students attending a group you will likely interact with in the future? do they offer the type of instruction that will help you succeed?

Honestly, other than the big brand names (Harvard, Stanford, INSEAD, Wharton, etc. ) all the other schools are known only in certain markets. If you are an international student and intends returning to your country, will an MBA from a school no one has heard of in your area be useful?

Every MBA program has 3 sets of students: a group that work very hard to learn and excel, a group that will do a bit but have priorities elsewhere and a group that do not care as they are there to get the degree only. Ask yourself (and be honest) where do you see yourself fitting and how much effort do you intend to put in

The GMAT scores can be found online or through a quick email to the school (they have no reason not to tell you). Alumni may end up telling you how wonderful (or bad) the place is but will their circumstances match yours?
