i am in a fix to choose between job in a company i would be likely placed and higher studies like MBA or M. Tech or MS.

If you are keen and the financial position of your family permits, you can go ahead with further studies.
If the answer is ‘NO’ to the above and if you were already selected by any prospective company for a job, you can join job. If still you are keen on further studies, study your PG in correspondence course.
If the answer is NO to both of the above two options and you are keen to land in abroad, Proceed on to your MS course.
In any of the options of the above, be sincere and be successful whatever you do. It can be a job, further studies, business.
You should consider if the job specification will allow you time to read for your higher studies else, i will advice you go for the job but if you have a sponsor, it is better to go for the higher studies as this will give you upper hand in securing a better job later in future over those that have only B. Sc
