GMAT /IELTS/Tofel to pursue management studies?
Question by Maggi: GMAT /IELTS/Tofel to pursue management studies?
Hi guys ,
I am a software engineer with 4 years of exp . i am keen to move to management. i know Gmat is best way to pursue the management studies. but however as my work schedule is hectic and study time is less.I look at the alternatives. Can you suggest with IELTS and TOEFL if i can get in to the good colleges.

Ya there are few universities which accepts IELTS/TOEFL only. In countries like Australia or even U.K few universities accepts only IELTS/TOEFL. But if ur are looking top universities in US you need to have GMAT along with your IELTS/TOEFL score card.

GMAT as you know is the way forward for management studies i.e. MBA being the most common.
If you’re a graduate in one of the six English speaking nation, then taking IELTS or TOEFL may not be necessary. Otherwise, you’ll need to.
As you’re in the computer science/ software engineer, GRE would also be best but that’s specifically for post-grad studies in computer sciences.
I’d say GMAT will be your best candidate. I’m planning my path towards it too.
