Full Sail Offers Tuition Plan For U.S. Armed Forces

(PRWEB) April 15, 2004

In support of troops currently serving in the United States military, Full Sail Real World Education has introduced a special tuition program to assist those soldiers interested in enrolling in a Full Sail degree program after completing their service.

A Full Sail tuition increase will be going into effect for all degree programs after June 25th, 2004. However, this special tuition opportunity allows all eligible U.S. Armed Forces military personnel to reserve a seat in a Full Sail degree program at the current, lower tuition rate for any start date in 2004.

In addition, any U.S troops that will not be able to enroll in a 2004 start date due to the call of duty may lock in the current tuition rate for any start date in 2005, by applying with deposits prior to the April 30, 2004 application deadline. Whichever start date they choose, this allows active military members to save up to $ 5775 on their Full Sail education.

“This is a great benefit to our armed forces, because they can take advantage of the lower tuition even if they’re still serving their country and can’t start school right away,” says Carlos Sumner, Full Sail’s Financial Aid Veterans Affairs Coordinator. “Many U.S. troops express interest in coming to Full Sail after their tour of duty – in fact, we have about 200 veteran students currently enrolled, which is more than most schools of our size.

Full Sail is proud to offer U.S. forces a tuition break in honor of their dedication to our country. “This tuition program is designed to assist those soldiers planning for their careers after military duty,” Sumner says. “We have a lot of current military personnel interested in attending Full Sail, and this is just a small thing we can do to help them get one step closer to their dreams.”

Full Sail Real World Education is an entertainment media college located in Winter Park, Florida. There are over 4,300 full-time students enrolled in Full Sail degree programs. Degree programs include Computer Animation, Digital Media, Entertainment Business, Film, Game Design & Development, Recording Arts, and Show Production & Touring.
