Question by Elizabeth T: Finance Major vs Finance concentration in Business Admin Major, does it matter?
I’m currently in an undergrad college. What sounds better to employers, a major in Finance or a major in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. (If I do the concentration, I plan to do a double concentration in finance and marketing). So i guess it’s 2 questions, 1. what’s better a finance major or concentration, and 2. if the answer is concentration, is it because it allows me to do a double concentration with marketing? What is an employers view?

Most schools only offer one or the other (concentration vs major).
Most employers don’t distinguish between the two.

Finance and Marketing are two distinct fields! you should analyze yourself what you are best at i.e. knowing and understanding numbers or knowing and understanding people.
Today is the era of specialization, you have to master at least one thing at the beginning.
Choice is yours!!!
