Question by mandmgreen18: Does University of Chicago have a masters program in Egyptology?
I have been looking on their website and it only talks about their Undergrad and PhD program. Am I blind or what? You would think they would but i have found this to be the case at Johns Hopkins too (that they don’t have a masters option. Anyone know, or are in it, or something? I may have to break down and email the department and ask.

Chicago’s Egyptology program is intended for students seeking the PhD. While they allow you to earn the MA along the way, students are not admitted to a terminal MA program.
If you’re only looking to do a MA in Egyptology, your best option is the University of Memphis. Other options are UCLA and Michigan. Berkeley normally offers a MA but is currently not accepting Egyptology students.
NYU and Penn also accept MA students but do not offer them funding.
