The prime one is lack of access to your instructor. If you are not good at fully explaining your questions, you may not get helpful answers. Sometimes it helps a great deal to be able to meet your instructor for clarification on class requirements.

In Distance Learning you loose the personal contact with the instructor and other students. The classes are usually compressed and you do not have sufficient time to master them. Many schools and employers do not accept or look down upon on line schools and courses. You are sometimes more concerned with the programs that you need rather than content. Many schools are not properly accredited.
