Does a Business Administration help you prepare for a job after you after graduation?

Question by J-Boy: Does a Business Administration help you prepare for a job after you after graduation?
Or does it help just help you get a job promotion.

I was working as a Receiver at Linens N Things thinking that my Business Degree would help me get a promotion, but it backfired on me and I couldn’t find a job with my Business Degree because employees wan’t somebody with more education at a Bachelor’s Level.

Your degree didn’t backfire on you, you simply failed to understand that a degree is there to help you, not a guarantee of anything. When you said employers want a Bachelor’s, I’m curious to know if you only have an A.A. in Business. It’s high time you reevaluate you expectations and priorities and get yourself straight.
