Question by kps: Do I need a GMAT for a UK MBA?
I’m currently starting my final year of a BCOM degree in India and wish to pursue a MBA in the UK.
As luck would have it both my regular counsellors are unavailable for atleast a month and I dont want to waste any time.
My grades are average and I have no work experience. Do I need to give my GMAT? I heard that most universities dont require GMAT.
I realise I dont have a realistic chance of getting into the top universities but what chance do I have of getting into an average one? Could you name some universities I could consider as a realistic option?
Also when should I start preparing applications? One counsellor has agreed to see me in September. Would that be too late?

Now is an appropriate time to prepare for applications. I would meet with the counsellor in september. If the University requires GMAT then give it. I since you are a bright individual and have faith in you that you will succeed in whatever University accepts you. You can apply to any decent university. Have a great day!
