So are they talking about regular calculus (like the ones that the math majors take) or business calculus? Which is better for me to take? I want to be qualified for as many schools as i can.

It depends. Check with the school/s you are considering, to have them clarify what they want.
Calculus covers a lot more material than Business Calc. Some schools might be okay with just Business Calc, but it’s best to go on the safe side and take regular Calculus.
