Controversial Financial Topics to be Addressed at Industry Summit & Breakfast in New York City

Bryn Mawr, PA – November 2, 2004 – The American College will sponsor a “Financial Services Industry Summit and Breakfast” at the Sky Club at the Met Life Building in New York City on Monday, December 6, 2004, featuring a distinguished panel of experts discussing Life Settlements and a controversial new product, Investor Owned Life Insurance (IOLI).

“This is a unique opportunity for financial professionals to interact with some of the country’s most prominent experts in these arenas,” said Larry Barton, PhD., President and Chief Executive Officer of The American College. “We feel it is important to sponsor events like this and provide financial advisors and their clients with insight not available elsewhere.”

Guest speakers slated to participate in this event includes:

· Scott L. Berlin, CLU, FSA, MAAA, Vice President and Actuary, New York Life Insurance Company

· Alan H. Buerger, CLU, Chief Executive Officer, The Coventry Group

· John R. J. Skar, CLU, ChFC, FSA, Senior Vice President and Chief Actuary, MassMutual Life Insurance Company

· Diane D. Stuto, Executive Vice President, Life Insurance Council of New York, Inc.

All interested producers and advisors interested in Life Settlements or IOLI are welcome to attend. The cost for the breakfast and summit is $ 69 per person. Breakfast will begin at 7:45 a.m. The program will conclude at 10:30 a.m.
